Who operates this site?

Orders and delivery

Checkout collects your name, email address, delivery address, telephone number, products, agreed terms and payment status to process your requested purchase, deliver goods and provide support. We process these details to perform our contract with you or take steps at your request before the contract. Necessary delivery details are shared with the supplier fulfilling your order and its courier. We use our own billing and payment details when buying from suppliers; your payment-card details are not passed to them.

Stripe processes payments; we do not store card numbers. Resend sends transactional order and delivery emails. Our hosting provider serves the website and stores order records. These providers process relevant information to provide their services under their own privacy and data-protection arrangements. We do not add order contacts to a marketing list.

Browser storage

Your shopping bag stores product model numbers and quantities in local storage under crate-oak-bag until you clear it. Live checkout keeps an order attempt, contact details and private receipt access in session storage under canine-live-attempt and canine-live-receipt. This supports checkout retries and lets you view your receipt in the same browser session. Do not share receipt access. You can remove this information by clearing this site’s browser storage or closing the browser session.

Retention and security

We retain order and transaction records for up to six years after completion for accounting, dispute handling and legal obligations. Relevant records may be kept longer where needed for an active legal claim. Delivery enquiries are kept for up to 12 months. These retention periods are managed by the shop owner; automatic deletion is not currently enabled. Test records from shop development are removed or anonymised within 30 days after launch.

Private owner tools require authenticated access. Public receipts require a private receipt token. Technical request limits use one-way hashes and short time windows to help prevent abuse. Hosting and payment providers may also process IP addresses and browser details to serve and protect their services.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct personal information, request deletion or restriction where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Some records must be retained for legal obligations. Email us with your request; do not send payment-card details. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Delivery enquiries and support

When you request a delivery quote, we use your name, email, optional telephone number, postcode and selected items to answer your enquiry and take steps at your request before a purchase. Relevant business correspondence is kept to support your enquiry, handle disputes and meet legal obligations. There are no customer accounts, marketing mailing-list forms or analytics trackers currently enabled on this site.
